History of airsoft guns

The sport with airsoft guns developed around the beginning of 1970, when the Daisy Manufacturing Company began making air guns which fired plastic balls, to replace the then air rifles, with metal or lead projectiles fired. This type of weapon was called the Soft Air gun but not to hit in America.
Around 1980, the interest of consumers in Japan for these weapons raised, because it is forbidden by law to a private firearm in possession. This allowed Japanese gun enthusiasts still up a gun collection. Several Japanese companies began the system of Daisy Manufacturing Company to use and build their realistic replicas of weapons. The soft-air or air-soft guns were born.

The original Daisy system used a simple spring mechanism (spring-piston air powerd). During the 80s developed the gas-powered airsoft guns that makes use of an external gas source (carbon dioxide or freon gas). These gases were, however, after over time prohibited by the Japanese Government for its many carbon dioxide and fluorinated carbon gases in the atmosphere were right.

An electric motor with a built-in spring ensures that the BB's being shot from the replica. This mechanism is used in almost all airsoft replicas used today. Instead it was used in airsoft guns made of a gas powered mechanism which caused the drive. The mechanism has long been too large and too long in an airsoft gun to place. Manufacturer Tokyo Marui since 2005 has an Automatic Electric Airsoft Pistols "where we did everything to build a gun.

Like the sport airsoft weapons developed rapidly in Japan and spread from there to other Asian countries and from here to Europe. Particularly to Italy and the United Kingdom in the 90s. The Airsoft sport made his reappearance in America around 1995.

The first airsoft players were mainly paint ballers who switched because the airsoft replicas are much more realistic than the current paintball markers or weapons.

There is a wide range of Airsoft guns automatic for the players. This variation is of a small fist gun to machine gun and sniper rifles. In most cases, for almost any real weapon or to obtain a replica airsoft.
